ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONS

Aqua Fit: Get a total body workout by spending one hour in the pool. This is a great class if you’re looking for low-impact exercise with moderate intensity.

AM Fix : This class is a great wake up call offering a variety of cardio disciplines including strength training and flexibility exercises. 60 minutes of high energy with a little bit of everything.

Dance Class: Every Friday night, our qualified dance instructors bring you a fresh new dance. Learn how to Salsa, Waltz, Swing, and more.

Deep Blue Sea: This intense class is for serious aqua fitters! Conducted in the deep end of the pool, class participants tread water while performing several cardio exercises designed to get the heart rate up and keep it up. Great total body workout without high impact.

Metabo Mix: This class offers a variety of strength and endurance exercises combined with lots of fat-burning cardio routines. If you’re serious about cross training, this class is for you. For added punch, several interval sessions are also part of the mix.

Physio Fit: Less intensity class ideal for athletes rehabilitating from injury or club members who are just getting started with a new fitness program. This class focuses flexibility, balance and some cardio conditioning.

Power Stations: High intensity circuit training class taught by personal trainers in a group fitness setting. Utilizing a variety of equipment on the Wellness floor, this class keeps you moving fast for 60 minutes... the ultimate in circuit training.

Pure Cardio: This class offers a variety of high intensity cardio training including the slide, spinning on bikes, step exercises, floor aerobics, and finishing the last ten minutes of each class with an abdominal and stretching segment.

Quad Step : This is an advanced, high energy step class with lots of sophisticated choreography involved. Great class for seasoned steppers seeking an intense cardio workout. Not recommended for beginning steppers.

Spinning : Great cardio workout on a stationary bike. Includes a warm-up followed with hill climbing, interval segments and fast spinning on the flats! 60 minutes of great exercise designed to work the lower body.

Super Step : Creative step routines combined with superior muscle toning.

Tai Chi : East meets west in this ancient art form of exercise. This class focuses on a gentle approach to fitness with careful balance and strength routines.

Intro Yoga & Mixed Yoga : Learn total relaxation in this class, designed to increase your strength and flexibility in a multilevel environment designed for both beginners and intermediate students.

Advanced Yoga : Advanced class for students seeking a more strenuous approach to Yoga. Increase your strength and flexibility with several advanced Yoga moves.
